Every once in a while you get to listen to an album so interesting that you just want everyone else to hear it, you just have to share it. Raketkanon, hailing from Ghent, have created an album of dark, fairly insane, riff heavy tracks, with synths which range from low drones to crazy flutters. Recorded at Electrical Audio by the one and only Steve Albini, RKTKN#2 is a damn monster. Free of the constraints of words, Pieter-Paul Devos creates sounds to create the emotion rather than lyricism, which may sound a bit odd but, in context, it works perfectly. Either way, stop reading, give this a listen.
