When it comes to our Track of the Day section, we pride ourselves on uncovering bands relatively early into their careers– giving you just one solitary track to dig your teeth into and make you decide whether to follow them in to the future or not.
It probably comes as no surprise to find that most of the bands/artists I feature, I go on to track their progress for quite a while. I’ve found it quite hard not to show any favouritism to those bands even though– for the vast majority– their second single/EP has been just as TOTD worthy.
Today, I’ve been given the chance to show a little bit of that favouritism in our Friday Mixtape by bringing up the consequent releases of the bands we have bestowed a TOTD title on. So plug in your headphones this afternoon and find out where the bands went next:
