Who likes short shorts?!? I like short shorts! Now I have your attention, I can tell you a little bit about a song called ‘Seasick‘. It’s by this awesome band called Cassels who consist of two brothers making music in West Landaaaan.
Since they have written a song about the sea, I am going to write this piece in a nautical theme. Much like the ocean, Cassels is a wonderful amalgamation of all sorts of stuff where they have blended together bits and bobs of Punk, Garage and Rock. The song turns, in the blink of an eye, from smooth, relaxing waters to surges of energy that crash through your speakers like a tsunami. The song itself even has a nice sea-shanty feel to it, well, in the soft bits at least.
Catchy and original, Cassels have created an awesome, jaunty track that leaves you wanting more and luckily there is much more to come. ‘Seasick’ is Cassels debut single which is due to be released on the 2nd of December via Tip Top Recordings meaning there is much more music on the horizon from these young salty dogs. If you want to listen to something that’s new, original and kinda cool (you would be stupid not to) then have a listen to Seasick by Cassels. I’ve even done the hard work and included it bellow:
