It has to be something special to make me want to write after a ridiculous Monday at work. The weekend joys feel like weeks ago and it’s nearly October so the nights will be closing in soon, which makes you want to just curl up in a ball with cocoa. Jon Hopkins does not want you to do that as his new track Breathe this Air is an absolute petard.
This progressive dance tracks builds perfectly and with the added benefit of having Purity Ring involved shows an added level of layering that the Canadian act are famous for. If you don’t believe me, listen to their fantastic debut Shrines.
